We?re back again with another Throwback Thursday Clip of the Week from Easterns. This week, we have none other than quarterback for the Washington Redskins, Kirk Cousins. Easterns recruited Cousins to first star in their commercials back in 2016. During this same time, they also recruited Josh Norman, cornerback for Washington Redskins and Ryan Kerrigan, linebacker for the Washington Redskins. As a collective, the three players make up what is known as the Easterns All Star Team. They each starred in several commercials both individually and together as a group that are very popular amongst Redskins fans, Easterns fans, and people of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia community. In this clip, Cousins tosses a football around while discussing the importance of growth and hard work as it pertains to his career. He was able to connect the dots and let the audience know that he too faces obstacles but he refuses to give up. The overall theme of the clip sent a clear message to people in the community because they too know the struggles that life brings but believe in the idea of working hard for what you want. Easterns sells cars to the hard working men and women in the DMV area.

6 Seconds with Ryan Kerrigan of the Washington Football Team
Ryan Kerrigan of the Washington Football Team recently came to the Eastern Motors headquarters in Sterling, Virginia to film a series of commercial spots. One great thing about Kerrigan is that he?s not going to associate himself with anything that he doesn?t believe in. He is very passionate about the Easterns brand and what it represents not only people of his caliber but also those in the community. This clip is just one of a series of commercials that include not only Kerrigan but also two of his teammates, Kirk Cousins and Josh Norman. This trio makes up what is known as the Easterns All-Star Team. Whenever Easterns can manage to get these guys together off the field, you can be sure there will be nothing but nonstop laughs and fun. We wanted to share this commercial first to get you all excited about the greatness that is to come. Remember, this is only the beginning ? Stay tuned for more!
Throwback Thursday Clip of the Week | Santana Moss challenges a Lamborghini to a race
Happy New Year to all! We wanted to kick off our first Throwback Thursday with someone very special by the name of Santana Moss. Moss had an incredible 10 year run playing for the Washington Redskins. Many would love to say that they made at least half of the impact that Moss on the team and the entire Redskins organization. Moss is the current host of Redskins Shop Talk on NBC Sports. He definitely stuck around way longer than his time in the league. Moss is now able to give his thoughts, opinion, and critique to current players of the Redskins as well as other NFL teams. It?s always great to hear the prospective of an actual player himself that knows the game and the feeling of being on top. This particular throwback video was shot back in 2007 during a time where you couldn’t go anywhere in the DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) area where you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing someone wearing a Moss jersey. He was and still is beloved in the community by Redskins fans which is one of the reasons beyond just his awesome skills that Easterns wanted him to star in a commercial.
In this clip, Moss is seen going back and forth with a Lamborghini that is revving its engine. Moss starts to throw out his stats to basically let the Lamborghini know who’s boss. He made brief mention of having over 300 catches and over 4,700 yards. Of course these numbers aren’t accurate to date but they were back in 2007 when the commercial was filmed. The Lamborghini continued to rev its engine and rile Moss up. Moss then challenged the Lamborghini to a race by saying? Let’s see what you got!? He wasted no time taking off and was well in motion before the Lamborghini could get off the ground. There was no denying that Moss was one of the best in the league with his skill and his speed. An incredible talent!

Josh Norman of the Washington Redskins recently came to the Eastern Motors headquarters in Sterling, Virginia to film a series of commercial spots. He really believes in the Easterns brand and is very excited to have another family that extends beyond the Redskins organization. Of course, Norman didn?t come alone. He came with two of his teammates, Ryan Kerrigan and Kirk Cousins. The three of them collectively make up what is known as the Easterns All Star Team. Whenever Easterns can manage to get these guys together off the field, you can be sure there will be nothing but laughter and good times. They each shot their own individual commercials that will be posted in the next few weeks but we first wanted to share Norman?s 6 Seconds. Richard gives Ryan Kerrigan a tour of his green machine
It?s been a little while since our last Redskins Rides blog post. We hope that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday with your family, friends, and loved ones. We couldn?t leave you guys hanging for long! Easterns Automotive Group has teamed up with the Washington Redskins once again for another edition of Redskins Rides. Ryan Kerrigan met with Richard at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia to get an up-close and personal look at his unique whip. Richard is the proud owner of a lime green 1936 Chevy Coach. This coach is different from a sedan in that it is a two-door and that it is much more compact in size. Richard purchased this beauty about five months ago in Nashville, Tennessee. The unusual color caught his attention and ultimately led him to make the purchase. It has a brand new 350 fuel injection under the hood as well as a pristine cream interior. It?s clear that he has a great eye for cars because this was definitely an awesome classic car purchase. We want to thank Richard for taking the time to show off his custom Redskins Rides. Redskins Rides ? PJ & Val give Anthony Lanier II a tour of their tailgating truck
We?re back! Reporting live from Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia where we just filmed a brand new edition of Redskins Rides. Redskins Rides is brought to you by Easterns Automotive Group along with the Washington Redskins. Easterns thought that the perfect person for this segment would be defensive end, Anthony Lanier II. With Lanier being such a tall guy at 6?6?, they definitely wanted to give him a Redskins Ride that he could actually relate to. He met his match with PJ and Val. These two are the proud owners of the super spacious 2008 Ford F-350 Lariat Super Duty pickup truck. The first noticeable attribute of the truck is how high it sits off the ground. The rims and tires are huge! Val purchased the truck in stock condition a few years ago from a friend. He has spent the last three years customizing the truck to fit his tailgating needs. Since being introduced to American football by a friend, Val loves traveling in his truck to different cities and attending various NFL games. Redskins Rides ? Kari gives Chris Thompson a tour of her custom 2016 Boss Hoss
Back again! This week we have a great edition of Redskins Rides in store for you all on behalf of Easterns Automotive Group (Eastern Motors) and the Washington Redskins. This edition is very unique because it is the very first time we have featured a trike. A trike is a 3 wheeled bike in this case it?s also in the form of a motorcycle. Kari met up with Chris Thompson of the Redskins at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia to discuss her unique ride. Kari is the proud owner of a 2016 Boss Hoss 450 with a 1957 Chevy engine. It doesn?t get much more astonishing than that! The royal blue paint with the silver stripes makes it look like a beast. She gets a lot of attention on the road because most people are just blown away by the custom design and the fact that it?s a motorcycle on 3 wheels. Her favorite customization on the bike is the name ?Sparkle? that she got put on the trunk. The reason she chose that name is because of her love for jewelry and sparkly items. This trike is amazing! Redskins Rides ? Jim gives Chris Thompson a tour of his awesome 1956 Chevy Bel Air
A new week means we?re back to bring you a new edition of Redskins Rides presented by Easterns Automotive Group (Eastern Motors) and the Washington Redskins. Last night the Redskins won their game over the Seahawks so of course everyone in the DMV metro area is very excited. Among those that were ecstatic was Jim, a lifelong Redskins fan. Jim met up with Chris Thompson of the Redskins at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia to discuss his very own Redskins Ride. Jim is the proud owner of a 1956 Chevy Bel Air (hard top edition). Shortly after Jim purchased the vehicle, he got it painted a custom burgundy metallic color with gold flakes in the paint. When the sun hits the paint it makes the car look so magnificent. We?ve been asking around to see if anyone has seen a Bel Air quite like Jim?s but so far the unanimous answer has been no. There are even Redskins flags on top of both windows that wave in the wind while the car is in motion. This entire project of customizing the car and making it personal has been a labor of love for Jim. It has become something that he thoroughly enjoys doing. He informed us that he has been a Redskins season ticket holder since 1967. Wow! There is no denying that Jim is a diehard Skins fan. Awesome ride! Redskins Rides ? Daniel and Jesse show off both of their 1963 Chevy Impalas at Redskins Park
Hello, beautiful people! This week, we have doubled the fun for you all. Of course that means we have another edition of Redskins Rides but we have two amazing rides this time. We recently met with both Daniel and Jesse at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia to see their awesome cars. They both own a 1963 Chevy Impala but they are both different from each other yet unique in their own way. Daniel purchased his 1963 Impala convertible back in 2005 and is a member of Individuals Car Club of Woodbridge, Virginia. He found the car in Ontario, Canada and brought it to the DMV area where he has been working on it ever since. The teal metallic paint job with the custom paint designs definitely separates this Impala from the rest. The part of this Impala that really makes it stand on its own is the custom aircraft hydraulic system that Daniel had installed in the trunk.
Jesse has owned his fire engine red Chevy Impala for about 12 years. The car caught on fire last year causing him to have to re-do the entire vehicle all over again. Like Daniel, his Redskins Ride also has a hydraulic system. He discussed the excitement that people have when they see the car on hydraulics. Most people have only seen hydraulics on television so it?s definitely quite amazing to see in person. Originally, Jesse?s plan was just to have the car painted plain red. The painter showed Jesse some custom paint panels that he just couldn?t decline. It all worked out in the end because you definitely won?t see another Impala like it. Amazing rides, fellas! John shows off his 2016 Subaru WRX to Chris Thompson of the Washington Football Team
We?re back this week to bring you the latest edition of Redskins Rides presented by Easterns Automotive Group (Eastern Motors) and the Washington Redskins. Chris Thompson of the Redskins was recruited to speak to Maryland resident, John regarding his custom Redskins Ride. John is the proud owner of a custom 2016 Subaru WRX. Everything on the car is custom, which makes it very unique. The reason that John made modifications to his WRX is because he wanted a car that would be perfect for off-roading, drag racing, and of course every day use. The custom paint job on his WRX definitely has a burgundy/red undertone that is reminiscent of colors of the Redskins jersey. The racing seats definitely give the car that Need for Speed and Fast and Furious feeling. John told Thompson that one of his favorite customizations on this car is the custom Maryland flag mud flaps. It?s very apparent that John takes a lot of pride in being a Maryland resident. People ask him all the time how fast his car can go but he prefers for them to see for themselves out on the track.
